Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mental Health                                                 in schools and at home

A continuum of Social Emotional Learning is integral to student well-being and development. The continuum includes an intentional focus on creating a sense of belonging for students, the teaching of social emotional skills, teaching mental health literacy and strategies, and an working towards an integrated approach to mental health with our community partners. Each area of SEL and Mental Health support is beneficial on its own, but the development of strategic action across the continuum provides a comprehensive focus and best meets the needs of all students. More information may be found on the District website.

CASL (Canadian Anti Spam Legislation)
Canadian Anti Spam Legislation applies to PACs and affects how PACs can communicate with their members.  PAC Executive should familiarize themselves with the legislation.  Please click the link in the title to see the wording of the legislation and for further information see the links below.  NVPAC's Communication Guidelines were prepared with CASL in mind.
