Walk & Wheel Day

This program scans students using a smart phone. Primary students love the attention and creating a school competition adds to the excitement. 

Each student gets a backpack tag that with a QR code.

Volunteer Requirements

Some schools use their grade 7 students, other have parent volunteers at each door greeting students and scanning those who used people power to get to school.

Costing 

  • The cost of the app is approx $3 per phone
  • The tags can be made at the school or at a printer for approx $0.25 per tag
  • Prizing is a short term motivator but the kids love it, either set money aside in your PAC budget or find programs to build your treasure chest of goodies.
